With a goal to significantly reduce atmospheric CO2 levels, and money raised for research, we set out to build a professional, trustworthy brand and website that explains a complex process to the people that matter.
The project's main challenge was to design a website that could demystify the complex concept of carbon sequestration. It needed to look sleek and professional, yet minimalistic enough to keep the environmental groups on our side. Oh, and let's not forget another tricky bit: crafting a flexible brand system that could grow and adapt as the company journeyed from its research stages to full-blown public awareness. Visual Identity
Our goal was to craft a brand identity that's not just visually striking but also deeply connected to Carboniferous' mission. From the color palette and logo mark to the carefully chosen fonts and typography, every element was thoughtfully picked to embody scientific optimism and sustainable growth. This strategic approach ensures the brand stays adaptable and ready to evolve with its audience.
'Boulder' ideas
We kicked things off by diving into Carboniferous' mission, audience, and goals, setting the stage for our creative journey. Our first move was a deep dive into their core values and objectives, making sure every design decision echoed their vision. This thorough understanding powered our logo explorations, capturing their scientific yet optimistic vibe.

Our development team integrated the website with HubSpot CRM for tracking and marketing, ensuring the Carboniferous team can easily edit and edit pages themselves. We evaluated HubSpot, Webflow, and WordPress before choosing the best fit for seamless HubSpot CRM integration.
